Fees & Charges

HIPPO membership is currently provided free of charge. We do not charge any fee for browsing or purchasing products from our eStore. However, we reserve the right to modify our policies from time to time, including the introduction of new products and services or changes to our existing ones. In such cases, we reserve the right to implement fees and charges for certain products or services at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify our users of any such changes to our policies

Pricing Policy

At HIPPO, we strive to provide our customers with both standard-sized and custom-sized products at a reasonable price. Our pricing is based on various factors such as the size of the product, wastage, manpower involved in manufacturing, and other features that may impact pricing. Please note that the pricing for custom-sized products should not be compared to the standard-sized products, as the latter are manufactured in bulk with minimal wastage.

Accuracy of Pricing Information: We make every effort to ensure that our product pricing is accurate and up-to-date. However, there may be instances where pricing errors occur due to technical glitches or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any orders placed for products with incorrect pricing information, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment has been processed.

Refund for Incorrect Pricing Information: If you have already been charged for a product with incorrect pricing information, we will issue a full refund of the amount paid. Please note that we reserve the right to modify the pricing of our products at any time without prior notice.

Transportation Charges: For orders below INR 490, a Rs. 250 shipping charge will be added to the order total. However, for orders above this amount, there will be no additional transportation charges. 

Please note that all products are committed to being sent via surface mode only. If you require air mode transportation, additional charges will apply based on the pincode. In this case, please contact our support team for arranging this.

Ordering Process & Policies

Product Selection: On HIPPO, you can browse through our selection of standard products, select the desired color, size, and quantity of the product you wish to purchase.

Add to Cart: Once you have selected the product(s), add them to your cart and proceed to the checkout page.

Verification: On the checkout page, verify the details of your order including product(s), quantity, and shipping address. If you need to make any changes, you can do so at this stage.

Payment: Once you have verified the details of your order, you can proceed to make the payment through the available payment methods on our website.

Order Confirmation: After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email from us which will contain the details of your order and estimated delivery time.

Shipping:  We are committed to shipping your order within 48 to 72 hours of receiving the payment. However, in some cases, such as public holidays, national holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, we may not be able to ship the products within this time frame. If the delay is expected to exceed 5 days, we will inform you about the delay and provide you with an estimated delivery date. If the delay is not acceptable to you, you have the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Dispatch:

The orders will be shipped by the courier and the shipping time might vary according to the pincodes, and we cannot commit to the shipping time. Please note that the price quoted is according to surface mode transportation. In case you require the parcel to be delivered faster, you can opt for air transportation, and we can arrange that for an additional cost (refer pricing policy).

We recommend that you provide us with accurate and complete shipping information, including your full name, address, pin code, and phone number, to avoid any delivery delays. We will not be responsible for any delays or damages caused due to incomplete or incorrect shipping information.

Once the product is shipped, we will provide you with the tracking information so that you can track your order. If you face any issues with delivery or tracking, you can reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

Return & Replacement Process

At HIPPO, we take special care in ensuring that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your product, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange policy under certain conditions.

Important Notes

  • Our fabric-manufactured products will always come with a tolerance ranging from 1 inch to 5 inches, as specified in the product description and specifications details.
  • Please note that the photos of our products are taken in perfect lighting conditions, and some of the images are taken outdoors. The colors may vary depending on the reflection of light, so there may be a slight variation in color between the photo and the physical product.

The customer can return or replace the product on HIPPO under the following conditions:

Manufacturing defect: If the product has a defect when received or has functional issues that don't serve its purpose, you can return or replace the product.

Damaged Item: If the product has obvious damage on its packaging or upon opening the packaging you discover that the product has sustained physical damage, please contact us within 48 (Forty Four) hours from the time of delivery. You will also be required to provide us with proof of purchase and any delivery documentation.

Wrong Item: If you received an incorrect product or the received item is different from the ordered product, please contact us within 48 (Forty Four) hours from the time of delivery. You will also be required to provide us with proof of purchase and any delivery documentation.

Mismatch in sizes or colors: If the size of the delivered product's dimensions are not as committed(lower or more than the committed tolerance) or if the color of the product is not correct (as per notes), you can return or replace the product.

Missing items: If there are one or more components that were supposed to be delivered along with the product (as mentioned on the product detail page) and were missed, we will initially send you the missing items.

Non-eligible reasons for return or replacement with HIPPO for Standard Size orders & Customize orders

Physical damages during installation: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the product is installed correctly. We provide detailed installation instructions to assist the customer with the installation process. If the product is damaged during installation, we will not accept a return.

Product damaged due to wrong installation: If the product is damaged due to incorrect installation, we will not accept a return. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is installed correctly.

Product damaged due to mishandling: If the product is damaged due to mishandling, we will not accept a return. The customer is responsible for handling the product with care.

Product damaged due to natural disaster: At HIPPO, we understand that there are many factors beyond our control when it comes to outdoor products. This includes natural disasters such as heavy winds, heavy rain, storms, or any other type of natural disaster. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to our products due to these circumstances.

Therefore, we do not accept returns or offer replacements for products that are damaged due to natural disasters. We recommend that you take necessary precautions to protect your outdoor products during such events, such as securing them or taking them inside if possible.

Verification Process:

For eligible returns, we will process the refund after receiving the returned product. If you opt for a replacement, we will dispatch the product through our reliable courier services (as per our shipping policy), and the delivery timeline will depend on the pin code. Please note that the replacement product will be dispatched only after the returned product has been received and verified.

Return Process:

If you wish to return a product, please raise a return request within 7 days of the receipt of the product. Our customer service team will arrange for the pickup of the product from the delivery address mentioned at the time of placing the order.

Please ensure that the product is returned in its original condition with all the packaging, tags, and accessories intact. You may be required to provide proof of purchase at the time of pickup. Also might need to send us the picture and video of the product for verification. Our service team will conduct a final verification upon receiving the product.

Please note that if the product fails to pass the verification process, we reserve the right to reject the return request.

For Standard Products:

Customers have the full right to cancel the order for standard sized products. If the order has not been shipped, we can cancel the order and initiate a full refund to the customer. However, if the order is cancelled after shipping, we may need to charge the customer a percentage of the order amount.

Cancellation by HIPPO: We reserve the right to cancel the order for the following circumstances

  • In some unforeseen circumstances if there is unavailability of the raw materials at time of execution we may cancel the order.
  • If the customer wants to cancel the order due to additional charges for air mode transportation

We hope that this policy provides clarity on our cancellation process for standard and customized products. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team.

HIPPO will initiate the refund within 72 hours from the cancellation date or the returned date. In some circumstances, it may take up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed. Once the refund is initiated, it will be credited to your original method of payment within 3 to 4 business days.

For cancelled orders:

Standard order cancellation: If the customer cancels the order before shipping, we will initiate a full refund. If the cancellation is made after shipping, we may need to charge the customer a percentage of the order amount.

    For returned orders:

    • If the product is returned and passes our verification process, we will initiate the refund within 7 business days from the date of receipt of the returned product. The refund will be processed in the same way as the original payment was made.

    Please note that if we find any violation of our cancellation or return policy, we reserve the right to reject the request for refund.

    Orders below INR 490 incur a shipping charge of INR 250, while orders over INR 490 receive free shipping for surface mode shipping. Air mode shipping incurs additional charges based on pincode. International shipping is also available for an additional fee, which includes duty and custom clearance charges.

    Customers receive a tracking number via email or message once the product is shipped. Please note that HIPPO reserves the right to change the minimum order value and shipping cost as necessary.

    International Shipping Policy:

    Please be aware that custom fees and duties may be charged on the shipment upon entry into the destination country. These fees are not included in our shipping charges and are the responsibility of the customer. Customs policies and charges vary widely from country to country, so we recommend that you contact your local customs office for more information.

    Proof of Delivery:

    In some cases, the customer may need to provide additional documentation, such as identification or proof of purchase, for the package to be delivered.     Delivery Time:
